As it is our first official day we decided to meet in order to organize our schedule for the rest of the two weeks. We created a google spreadsheet where we decided the work times for each day and our objectives. Today's objective was to organize and also set meetings with a couple of bus companies where we can start scouting the possible company options.
We have a meeting with the company "Senderos" this week at the school, and another with "Buseticas" this week as well however located at the company itself. We also contacted "Seditrans" since we are aware they have a similar plan in place to what we want to achieve with La Clínica Cardiovascular, however, they insisted we send an email first and we are still awaiting their answer.
Today we had a couple of challenges: we first realized that we needed to set meetings beforehand because to simply "walk-in" was not a good option, we also realized the importance of first scouting the different plans the companies they could provide for us since we can't just start without comparing. Therefore, we will set a meeting this week with the person in charge of organizing the bus routes at school since he already mentions his interest in the project and wants to help us. Another challenge is the fact that initially, the companies we have called have been skeptical towards what the project is and aren't able to fully understand it; therefore, it has been a challenge to clearly communicate that.
This has been a good first day to see what we need to do.

Even though it is our first day, we still have many thoughts and worries about what is yet to come. We are very much aware of the fact that this is just a proposal, however, we are afraid that it may not end up working out. When talking to the hospital's management they were very worried about the legal implications and the demands of such a project. We assured them that is was a simple proposal and they did not have to accept it if they chose not to, however, many people in the hospital have learned about our initiative and have started to have some hope of improved quality of life, and we are afraid of it being false hope.
We suspect that if the hospital does not end up going with the initiative, that we may offer it to the workers for them to use as a base and have it as a separate system in place to make their lives easier.
