ABOUT THE SITUATION

Clínica el Rosario

No hospital in the city of Medellin currently holds a system of transportation available to their workers. Working closely with nurses and maintenance staff, doctors have realized the difficulty the topic of transportation has appeared to be for those who live pretty far from the hospital.

Doctors and nurses specifically have approached us about the issue and have stressed the fact that a transportation system would be a great additional help that could ultimately help their performance at the workplace.

For most employees, transportation is the only significant negative factor in their job. They must wake up at early hours in the morning to take more than an hour to arrive on time, which isn't always the case.

With this problem in mind, we realize that we must find a way to help their daily trek to the hospital.

After speaking with the hospital, we realize there can be no legal implications associated with this and there can be no way in which the hospital is involved other than supporting the idea and offering it as an option to its workers.

We must then work with the employees to create a sustainable plan that could create a positive effect on the hospital and an improvement in their own quality of life. This will be achieved through surveys, interviews, and meetings with bus companies, professionals in other fields, as well as administration employees who know more about the logistics of the hospital.
